Introduction to Music Therapy:

Some people may misinterpret music therapy as 'Listening to musical CDs' , 'Mozart Effect' or 'music education'. In fact, music therapy is an established health care profession that use music to change the behaviors of clients of all ages and abilities. As music is one of the best medium of communication, it can always maintain the clients' motivation to learn and participate.

Music therapy intervention aims at non-musical and therapeutic goals while music education focuses on music techniques and music-related knowledge, such as the history of music.
